What is NextGen?

FBN Next Generation Bulgaria is the youth structure of Family Business Network - Bulgaria, which unites young members of the families in the organization. Participating the community provides an environment in which the young people learn, share experiences and find inspiration and support to implement their projects.

Next Generation includes representatives of family companies aged between 18 and 39. The opportunities for networking and gaining experience give the members of FBN Next Generation Bulgaria the knowledge and tools they need to pave their way forward.

FBN Next Generation Bulgaria is an active member of the international youth structure FBN Next Generation International. Together with other national youth structures, FBN Next Generation Bulgaria belongs to a cohesive and dynamic global community in which lifelong friendships are established.

Established in 2010, the youth structure of the Family Business Network - Bulgaria creates its own traditions and writes its history with aspiration and enthusiasm typical for the young people.

Dimitar  Dimitrov

Dimitar Dimitrov

President of FBN NextGen

Dimitar Dimitrov is the commercial director of Right Pack Ltd. - part of the group of companies of the Dimitrovi family.

Right Pack is among the leading manufacturers in Bulgaria of cardboard, corrugated cardboard and polyethylene packaging.

In FBN Bulgaria, the Dimitrovi family has been a member since July 2018 with Techno Press Ltd., a parent company founded in 1999 for the import and distribution of machines and consumables for the printing industry, import and trade of components for the production of renewable energy sources, RES construction, electricity production, agriculture and food processing, wine production, consulting services.

Dimitar graduated from the Math High School "Acad. Kiril Popov", Plovdiv. He holds a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University, majoring in "Economic Management".

He is 32 years old, married with two children.

By decision of the General Assembly from April 2023, Dimitar Dimitrov is the Chairman of FBN Bulgaria Next Generation.


Victor Gugushev

Honorable chairperson of FBN NextGen

Victor Gugushev holds a Master's Degree in Law from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ". He completed all specializations in his Master's program. After his education in his homeland, he continued his professional development at Queen Mary University of London, where he specialized in Corporate Finance, Insolvency, Tax and Banking Law.
Victor Gugushev is currently a partner and part of the corporate division of Gugushev & Partners Law Office, the latter winning the Award for the Best Law Firm in Bulgaria for 2015 and 2017.
Victor is the winner of the Corporate Finance Leading Lawyer Award for 2015 from Global Law Experts, as well as the 2016 and 2018 Best Young Law Expert in Bulgaria Award winner. He holds a number of other additional qualifications and several published articles.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and skiing. He has been involved in a number of public causes and is the President of the FBN - Next Generation youth structure since 2017. During the first 6 months of his mandate, NextGen - Bulgaria won the honor to host the FBN-I NextGen World Summit in 2020. He has been invited several times as guest lecturer for students, including students at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ".

Bogdana Vateva

Bogdana Vateva

Vice president of FBN NextGen

Bogdana Vateva is a 2nd generation member in the family company "Tandem - V" Ltd. - a meat processing business engaged in the production of meat products and delicacies with 27 years of experience in the field, as well as one of the leading companies in the high price segment in the industry.

Bogdana graduated in BSc Business and Management (Marketing) at Brunel University London in 2018 and the same year returned to Bulgaria to start working at Tandem - V.

In April 2019, she took over the management of the company and began the actual implementation of a long-term project for reconstruction and expansion of the enterprise in Sofia. Currently, the total value of the project, launched in 2015, is about BGN 7 million.

Under her management, Tandem - V achieved 14% sales growth for the period January-September 2020 compared to the previous year. It is also her achievement that the company started exporting its products - to important European markets, among which England, Germany, Spain, and Denmark.

Bogdana has been an active member of FBN-Bulgaria Next Generation for the last 5-6 years, and since the autumn of 2020, she has been its vice president as well.


Ivaylo Nenkov

Ivaylo Nenkov is a 3rd generation member of the Nenkovi family - the owner of the companies “BG Agro” and “Gifta”, which cover the full supply chain, starting with the production of agricultural products and trade to the export of agricultural commodities, essential oils, and fruits.

Having lived in the UK for over 10 years, he has a bachelor's degree in International Business with Spanish and Italian from Regent's University in London.
He is currently very active in the family business, occupying two positions in its structures - mainly related to the production and trade of agricultural raw materials, fruits, and essential oils. Ivaylo has been working full time in the family company for 4 years.
He is an active member of the Next Generation structure of FBN Bulgaria and since the autumn of 2020 he has been elected its vice president. A member of the organizational committee of the upcoming NextGen World Meeting.
