The restoration of the monument of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius in Sofia, organized by FBN Bulgaria with donations from member families of the organization, is the subject of a report, broadcasted in the morning block of NOVA TV "Hello, Bulgaria" on July 12 .
The material traces the fifty-year history of the monument - from its erection to the present day - emphasizing the fact that during its half-century existence, the renovation initiated by FBN Bulgaria was the first and only gesture of care for its restoration and preservation.
In the TV report Mr. Victor Gugushev, a member of the Board of Directors of FBN Bulgaria, speaks about the emergence of the idea for the restoration and the difficulties facing its realization. Sculptor Marin Markov, whose team carried out the conservation and restoration activities, shares personal memories of the author of the monumental composition, Vladimir Ginovski.
