FBN Galina Peycheva-Miteva from "Trakiya - RM" was a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Economics
More than 30 students from different bachelor programs of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" welcomed on 25th of April this year representative of "Association of Family Business - Bulgaria".
Galina Peycheva-Miteva from the family company, a member of the Association "Trakia - RM" EOOD, is a guest lecturer on the subject "Entrepreneurship and Innovation", led by Prof. Desislava Yordanova.
Galina Peycheva-Miteva is the second generation in the family business, which is based in the city of Plovdiv and is currently being developed by Galina and her parents.
"Trakia - RM" EOOD specializes in various business areas: mining and transport activity; technical and biological reclamation; Water infrastructure facilities; construction of ecological sites; geological surveys, drilling activity; agriculture; energy (photovoltaic parks).
Ms. Peycheva-Miteva's fascinating story about the challenges and motivation to create and develop a business in complex fields requiring serious knowledge and investment gave the students a useful and different view of entrepreneurship.
As expected, Galina Peycheva-Miteva's significant entrepreneurial experience provoked a variety of questions and discussions on a wide range of topics - about agricultural and energy business, about European regulations and the Green Deal, about women in business and their growing role in company management, about companies' responsibility to employees and local communities.
