The 16th FBN Next Generation International Summit is an event that will be long remembered by the 150 participants from all over the world!
In the days between June 5th and 11th, 2022, Bulgaria hosted guests from 40 countries from six continents for an unforgettable week of meetings, travels, exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Hindered by the COVID-pandemic, the long-delayed event finally brought together the young heirs of family businesses from around the world and happily coincided with the 20th anniversary of the creation of the global Next Generation community, and the motto of the 16th International Summit - "Together we stand strong!" - had a particularly topical sound.

Three learning journeys along routes all over Bulgaria preceded the conference part of the summit. The Bulgarian hosts had organized for their guests both visits to historical and cultural sights and family businesses throughout the country. Kings Road, Spiritual Journey and Farmville took the participants to different corners of the country to show them the unique beauty of Bulgaria and the opportunities for joint business with successful Bulgarian family entrepreneurs.

The official start of the NxG International Summit in Sofia was set by the Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, who opened the event, the realization of which he consistently supported during the five years of its preparation. In his welcome speech to the participants, President Radev emphasized the contribution of family business to the development of the economy and the imposition of values ​​that can contribute to overcoming today's challenges.

On the morning of June 10th, the conference program of the 16th FBN NxG Interntional Summit started, which included parallel sessions on various topics with impressive speakers - respected experts and teachers, representatives of successful family companies, including the Bulgarian representative Hristo Hristov, executive director of Darik Radio.
One of the highlights of the day was the discussion with the representatives of FBN Ukraine on the topic "Ukraine's next generation in times of war: to protect the future of future generations".

The 16th FBn NxG International Summit concluded with a dinner and party, fittingly marking the 20th birthday of the youth community. Watch the video to experience their joy at the renewed meetings!
