The event took place in Hotel Marinela, Sofia, and gathered all members of the Association and their families, as well as official guests and partners.
This is the most significant official event in the calendar of the Association, whose main goal is to promote the success and long-term sustainable development of family companies in Bulgaria. Globally, the family business is a key driver of a healthy and strong economy, adhering to the principles of ethics and corporate social responsibility. The association is a member of the two largest international organizations in this field, namely FBN International and European Family Business and as such actively participates in the events of both organizations.
The current President of the Association, Mr. Atanas Simeonov, opened the evening with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the plans for the future development of the Association, the benefits of membership and new initiatives for 2016.
The event passed under the motto symbolizing the responsibility of the business to look at the preparation and support for the growth of the next generation: THE FIGURES OF THE FUTURE - inspiration, motivation, and success!
The cause that everyone present had the opportunity to support during the dinner was the establishment of the Next Generation Academy (NxG Academy) for the growth of our children and leaders, who respect and honor values, learn to love and to believe in themselves, to discover their vocation, to find light and inspiration and to follow their principles, both in life and in business. The result: "Sustainability, through a conscious and inspired next generation."
This year's official guests of the event were the President of FBN Turkey, Ms. Sumer Tomek, and Ms. Mahru Gurel, Head of International Relations and Contacts, at the same organization. Their visit laid the foundations for fruitful future cooperation between the two organizations.
Over the years, guests of the event have been: the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, Mr. Georgi Parvanov - former President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Alexi de Blaki, CEO of FBN International, Mr. Thierry Lombard, President of FBN International , Mr. Jesus Casado, Secretary General of the EFB, as well as many representatives of the diplomatic corps.
During the dinner, the guests enjoyed the style and elegance in the performances of Maria Karakusheva and DJ Borra and their project "Classic in the house" and Vesi Boneva.
