The host of the event was Aparthotel Lucky Bansko *****, represented by its owners (Malinovi family), whose family company is among the members of the Association. We extend special thanks to the hosts for the cooperation and active personal participation in the organization of the meeting.
The topic of the gathering was: "Business models for sustainable development in the family business!"
The inspiring lecturer from the USA - Mr. David Batstone, arrived especially for the event by invitation of the Association to give a lecture and a practical seminar.
He presented to the participants his personal history and focused on sustainable development. At the seminar, he challenged the participants to think and explore new sustainable business models applicable to our conditions, which are both financially profitable and environmentally friendly. He himself, in addition to being an entrepreneur and professor at the University of San Francisco, has established and presides over the organization "Not for sale" - which fights against modern slavery and human trafficking worldwide and successfully implements business models to provide job opportunities and development for these people.
As one of the main goals of the Association is to support the development of the family business by enabling its members to tell their story and share experiences, knowledge, mistakes, and problems with like-minded people, the hosts - Malinovi family (Nord Holding) also gave a presentation.
The event was accompanied by a rich cultural, entertainment, and culinary program, which made the meeting fruitful and enjoyable and included specially selected by the hosts VIP menus, a trip to the nearby village of Dobarsko, and a hike in nature. On 17.04 (Sunday), a golf tournament was organized for golf lovers.
The meeting was attended by about 35 members of the Association with their families and representatives of NextGen. Among the present family companies - members of the Association were EU Group International, Ataro Klima, Interservice Uzunovi, MIT, Rosa Impex, Nord Holding, Mandjukov EAD, AG Capital; Gugushev & Partners Law Office, MM Group, Balkam Group, LZ Yachting, etc.
